Hey guys! Thanks for tuning in, today I’m making a decadent, delicious, healthy dessert for you, my Anti-inflammatory Chocolate-Lover’s Tart. This healthy dessert is a combination of three recipes from my ebook, Put Out the Fire! Diet & Wellness Guide, available at

Put Out the Fire! Diet & Wellness Guide (as I like to call it, for short) is the same plan I used to heal from rheumatoid arthritis, and it’s the foundation of the work I do in my private wellness practice.

It’s also a cookbook which features over 40 healthy, easy and delicious wellness recipes, including the three we use today to create this tart. I hope you enjoy this tasty chocolate dessert!


Crust (this is the Amaze-Balls recipe from POTF, page 95)
1 cup gluten-free oats
1/2 cup natural or raw nut butter of choice (almond is my fave)
1/2 cup flax meal
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
1/3 cup organic maple syrup or raw honey (honey is not vegan)
6 pitted dates, processed to a paste in food processor or blender
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
6 tablespoons chia seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup chopped nuts of choice

Filling (this is double the Happy Healthy Chocolate Mousse recipe from POTF, page 92):
2 avocados, peeled and pitted
1/2 cup raw organic cacao powder
1/2 cup organic maple syrup
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup coconut cream from canned coconut milk, chilled
overnight (do not skip this step!) and liquid poured off

Drizzle (this is the Raw Chocolate Ganache & Spread from POTF, page 104)
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/2 cup coconut oil, liquid
1/4 cup maple syrup or raw honey (honey is not vegan)
